Information for students interested in IPD, 2012-13
IPD is a year-long course; students must commit to take the course both semesters on Tuesday afternoons (class meets once a week and starts at 2pm, it is best if you are free into the early evening).
The course has been sponsored each year by one or two client companies. Some years we know the client companies early, some years we don't. This year we still do not know which companies will be the clients.
Students are required to sign non-disclosure (NDA) and intellectual property (IP) agreements in order to participate in IPD. The form of these agreements is approved by university counsel, but university counsel does NOT advise students whether or not to sign the agreements.
